George Bristol

Colonel George Bristol, USMC, is a career Marine who has risen from the ranks. He has served extensively in infantry, reconnaissance, and special operations billets in areas including Somalia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Central America, and the Far East. He began training in judo in 1966 and training in Shinkage-ryu heiho in 1995. He is just finishing up a biography of fellow Marine and longtime idol, the legendary Donn F. Draeger.
